Chatterbox

Today Kelsey decided to talk....a lot. Over the past couple of weeks she's been working on the occassional "ba" or "da" but they were far and few between. Today she broke out with "la", "da", "ga", "ma", and "ba". Once she discovered she could now "speak" there has been no stopping her! We tried to get her talking on video but she clammed up a bit and became more focused on grabbing the camera out of our hands ;)

Eight Months

I'm such a big girl now at eight months old! I can crawl, pull myself up and I'm learning to walk around furniture. I like to eat lots of veggies and cheerios but I'm still not a huge fan of fruit. I also have discovered this great toy that daddy pushes around a lot - I guess it's called a vacuum. I sure like chasing it around!

The weather is getting colder around here so I got a new fuzzy new hat to wear on our walks

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a great first Thanksgiving! Nana and Papa came up for a visit and then we headed down to Longview to visit Grandma and Grandpa and all my aunts, uncles and cousins. I even got my very own turkey dinner!

I turned seven months old today and have already mastered the stairs. Look out!

I hate hardwoods

I'm not a fan of hardwoods...or any hard surface for that matter. So I've developed a new style of crawling so I don't hurt my knees :)

Pumpkin Playdate

Recently we had a playdate with Claire where our moms decided it'd be fun to put us in a pumpkin. We made it quite an adventure for them :)

Yes, its definitely time to babyproof! Kelsey has learned to pull herself up and is now trying to figure out the stairs. Hopefully she takes her time learning to walk :)

Fall Festivities

This weekend we went to a pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins for Halloween. I had a great time checking everything out! We also went hiking at Carkeek Park and enjoyed the fall leaves.
