Summer Vacation

This month we went on our first family vacation to Eagle Crest just outside Bend, OR. It was SO much fun! Beforehand we stopped by Nana and Papa's for a couple of days where I got spoiled as always - thanks again for a fun time Nana and Papa!!

Eagle Crest

This was our house in Eagle Crest - I even had my own room!

We went for a walk every day on their trails

They had a great big basket of books I played with every chance I got!

We even went for a bike ride - I was excited at first but once we started moving I wasn't a big fan so we didn't go too far

Our last day we had deer in our backyard!

And a rabbit!

Newberry National Volcanic Monument

Daddy and me on a hike in a lava field

There were squirrels everywhere who wanted to eat my snacks!

We also saw a couple cool lizards

Family photo op!

We drove up to the top of the volcano to see the views but I was scared of the wind so Daddy stayed with me while Mommy checked out the scenery

At the state capitol
On our way home from our vacation we stopped for a rest in Olympia

Little Mother

Kelsey has become very attached to her dolls and stuffed animals lately. She LOVES to give them hugs and kisses and constantly cuddles with them. She's even protective of them if Kona or Riley gets too close. The other morning she was sitting at the table pretending to feed her baby. While I missed catching it on camera I did catch her talking to and playing with her baby.

I love taking care of my baby!

I love hugging and cuddling with Kitty. She goes everywhere with me!

Family Fun

We recently went down to Longview to visit Daddy's family so we could celebrate Grandma's birthday. After lunch we went for a walk to a park where I had lots of fun with my cousin Macey!

How does Mommy get these nail clippers to work?

Filing is much easier!

Kona loves it when I brush her!

Tim Noah!

Last week we went to see Mommy's favorite childhood singer - Tim Noah. Apparently a lot of people have heard of him because it was quite crowded! I can't wait to see him again!

My friend Matt and his mommy Tessa came along...

Falling Behind

We've gotten a little behind on updating the blog lately. We've been busy having playdates, going to birthday parties, playing in the sun and visiting zoos. Below are a few pictures and videos from our past month.

Fourth of July

At the Edmonds Parade with Daddy

Checking out the low tide

Walking on logs at Edmonds waterfront

Woodland Park Zoo
Kelsey had a fun time on her first trip to the zoo. She loved pointing out the animals she knew the names to and was fascinated by all of the new and interesting animals!

"Beh" as Kelsey calls them

Taking a snack break and watching the elephant show

Forest Park Petting Zoo
While Kelsey enjoyed looking at the animals at the petting zoo, she wasn't too keen on actually petting any of them. She got brave near the end and tried to pet a cow though it ended up being more of a swat :)

Hot Weather
We've had quite a lot of hot weather lately so we've been outside playing with all our water toys. Its been a lot of fun!

Helping to fill up the pool and water table

Drinking from the hose was a LOT of fun!

Helping Daddy get some water

Wet baby!

Father's Day
For Father's Day we started off watching the Masters and then headed to Kenmore for the Annual Brewfest.

Checking out Tiger

Busy Busy!

We have been busy around here visiting relatives and friends, going to fun parks for walks and to play on the toys, Wiggle Worms, swimming...the list goes on and on!

Recently we went over to Poulsbo to visit our friends the Hoveys along with the Worsleys and Doehnes.

Running on the ferry with Abi and Regen

I helped feed Claire some lunch

This is what a playroom looks like after 7 kids get done with it!

All tuckered out!

My mommy did the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Issaquah which Daddy and I stopped by for a little while. Mommy's team raised over $5,000 and the relay itself raised over $215,000! Go Team TBD!

Sharing some snacks with Ella while we wait for the Relay to start

Team TBD

I'm also trying very hard to figure out how to eat with a fork and spoon all on my own. As you can see, some days are better than others :)

I like to eat my bananas "big girl style" now with peel and all!

Fun in the Sun!

We had a full weekend of gorgeous weather so we did lots of fun things outside! We went to the beach, went for a hike, visited a new park and played in the backyard. It was a great time!

Pointing out the water to daddy

Trying to bury myself

I sure hope you guys brought a towel!

Attempting to "rock climb" at the park

This sprinkler is fun!

But I prefer splashing in the pool!

This last week I visited Wiggle Worms for the first time (a "gymnastics" class for toddlers) where they have all sorts of fun things to climb and bounce on. Ever since I've been trying to figure out how to jump.

Learning to jump - I practice this a LOT!
