Sisterly Love

Kelsey LOVES her new little sister! She always wants to hold her and give her hugs and kisses. She loves Josie so much we actually have to ask her to stop loving on her. Granted, we're thrilled she's so taken with her but poor Josie gets a little overloved sometimes :) Hopefully the love continues as they get older!

Carnival!

For Kla Ha Ya Days in Snohomish they had a small little carnival. We all went down on the final evening and Kelsey rode the rides all by her big girl self!

Starting easy on the carousel

Off we go!

She looks a little hesitant on the ride but she was all smiles when she got off...though she did get a little dizzy. When she got off the ride she ran out the gate and then promtply fell down :)

We thought Kelsey would enjoy the cars more since she loves to "drive" but I think the ride was a little too overwhelming for her to remember to steer.

Perfect ending to a fun day - caramel apple!

Mill Creek Festival

We visited the Mill Creek Festival this past weekend and had a great time! We enjoyed some ice cream and free chocolate milk which was VERY exciting in Kelsey's eyes!

Yummy! Chocolate!

Note - never leave a toddler alone with chocolate milk in her stroller...it may spill ;)

Tim Noah - Year 2!

For the second year in a row we went to the Silver Lake Children's Concert Series to see Tim Noah perform. We had a blast as always!

Having a grand time with Kyra

Yes we did watch some of the concert...but the playground was very distracting! :)

What's funny about this video is its the same song I have a video of her dancing to last year...guess its a good one!

First Week Home

I can't believe its been a week since Josie was born. Time is already flying by! We've been busy with family visiting and its been great to have the extra help around! We celebrated the fourth with a visit from Grandma, Grandpa and GiGi (Great Grandma Arnold). The next day we ventured out on our own to the Everett Farmer's Market which went quite well! Kelsey had a great time sampling everything and Josie slept the entire time. Everyone was impressed we were out with a three day old :) The following day Nana and Papa arrived for a few days and kept us all entertained and well fed!

Big Sister!

Yesterday my little sister, Josephine (Josie) Sun, was born! She arrived after 8 hours of labor and weighs in at 7lbs 10oz and is 20.67 inches long. It has been fun having her around and I love giving her lots of loves and tickles! Here are a few photos from her "birth"day and first day home.

Already imitating her big sister by sticking her tongue out :)

Before I went to visit my new sister I took a nap and dreamt of what it'll be like as a big sister

Our good friend Susie watched me while Mommy and Daddy were at the hospital and then brought me for a visit
