Carrots Go Awry

It all started as an innocent carrot goatee...

...and it turned into a huge carrot mess!

This is why mommy and daddy take my clothes off before feeding me!

Fall Is Here

Last week we all went to do a corn maze to celebrate the fall season. I LOVED all of the new things to look at....corn, wheat, pumpkins. There was so much for me to look at that Mommy and Daddy had a hard time getting me to look at the camera.

I'm so excited to go in the corn maze!

This wheat stuff is fascinating!

Hey mommy - put me down! There's lots of fascinating things I need to check out!

I love being up on daddy's shoulders! I can see so much!

Can I get off this hay bale yet? There's things to explore!

This weekend I also started sitting up all on my own! Now that I've mastered that I'm trying to figure out how to push to standing. I often end up in the downward dog position :) Mom almost captured both on video but I changed my mind about sitting up as I got distracted by the rug...

Six Months!?

Happy half birthday to me! I bet the cake doesn't taste as good as my hand!

Where does the time go? Our little girl is half a year old already. Kelsey's been advancing leaps and bounds this month. She's learned to crawl, is starting to try to pull herself up, loves "walking" with help, and has been sampling a variety of foods.

I'm not a fan of bananas

Sweet potato was my favorite...I liked them so much I smeared them all over me

I'm not sure if I like peas...I made faces but still ate them

Excited for my first Waterbabies class!

Waterbabies was exhausting!

Crawling under the dining room table

I crawled between the couches and couldn't figure out how to get back out

Trip to Oregon

This past weekend we packed up the car and headed on down to Oregon to visit Nana and Papa. I slept the entire way there and back (thanks to careful planning by Mommy and Daddy)! I had a ton of fun learning how to crawl, seeing ducks for the first time, and getting spoiled rotten!

Nana showing me proper crawling technique (and yes, I actually do crawl now...though very slowly)

Hanging out with Papa

Having fun with Nana

My onesie is a gift from Nana and Papa who just got back from New York for their nephew's wedding

A new toy from Nana and Papa...as you can see I drool a bit when playing with it

Another new toy from Nana and Papa....see, I told you I was spoiled!

Sucking on my teether to help with the pain of my first tooth coming in

Hanging out at a hazelnut farm with Nana

I'm having so much fun!

Phew! I'm exhausted!

Happy Labor Day!

For Labor Day we went up to Whidbey Island to celebrate with Jami's family and a bunch of friends. Here are a few pictures from our fun weekend.

It sure is windy on the ferry!

Checking out the scenery

My parents let me practice my driving while we were on the ferry. It was FUN!

Here are a few more photos from the past few weeks:

Riley is my FAVORITE thing to play with!

Me and Mommy

My first taste of "real" food (rice cereal)....I didn't really like it so most of it ended up down my chin

After the rice cereal ordeal I decided to drink the rest of my dinner

For dessert I ate my toes

Aaaaahhhh....that was tasty! :)

Yo G, whazzup?

Daddy put a flower in my hair - don't I look cute?

I've figured out how to scoot my bumbo over to things so I decided to pull out some cookbooks

This is how I take all my naps - posing :)
