Isn't it Spring?

Somebody told me Spring started in March....but based on our weather lately I'm not so sure. We got nearly 7 inches of snow so I think it may be Winter still. But last weekend it was almost 80 degrees which made me think it was Summer. These seasons sure are confusing!

Last Weekend

With the nice weather we did some yard work - I had fun helping Daddy with the wheelbarrow!

Then I helped him pick weeds

We then went to a park to enjoy the sunshine

It was a great time!

After the park we enjoyed our backyard for a while

Ahhhh....what a fun day! I miss the sun!

Par-Tay!

What a day! Today all of my friends came over to help me celebrate my first birthday. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone, opening gifts and trying cake for the first time. Man that stuff is tasty! Thank you again to everyone who came and generously donated to my toy, book and outfit collections! :)

Waiting for guests to arrive

Some of my friends and their parents

Daddy got a little carried away with the BBQ and almost burnt down the deck

Checking out my new purse while Nyah and Anna help my mommy unwrap more gifts

I can't wait to read this book!

Surrounded by some of my gifts

Hmmm....what is this I'm eating?

First Aquarium Trip!

Today I took my first trip to the Seattle Aquarium with my friends Regen, Claire, Abi and Colby...our mommies came along too :) It was lots of fun checking out the different fish and sea life!

Peek a boo!

Colby, Abi and Susie checking out the "petting zoo" of the aquarium

To begin with Claire and I just watched from our strollers...

But then we decided we'd check things out up close

Hey Claire - how cool is this?

Eleven Months!

It has been a busy past month - I've learned to walk, stand up without hanging onto anything and I've even figured out how to whistle! I love to whistle for Kona when we're out on our walks!

The weather has been getting nicer so Mommy and I had lunch on the deck

Hmmmm....these may be a bit too big

I love to beg for food from Daddy - he always gives in!

Getting a fun wheelbarrow ride!

Waiting for swim class to begin

Going down the slide at swim class

Practicing my walking...sometimes Kona gets in the way though - but we hug it out ;)

Walking!

Yes, it finally happened! Kelsey figured out how to walk - sort of :) She has moments where she can cross a room easily and then other moments where two steps is a challenge. I guess that's why they call it baby steps! She (of course) always walks best when the camera isn't on her so here is the best we could get on tape.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! It has been a busy few weeks for me - I've taken a few steps here and there, I'm learning to stand on my own, and sometimes Mommy and Daddy let me practice feeding myself with a spoon! I've also finally gotten my first teeth!

My Valentine's Day outfit from Nana and Papa

We got a lot of snow recently - it was fun to look at but too cold to play with!

Feeding myself like a big girl!

Teething sucks!

This is a great book!

I learned how to put the rings back on!
